Peter Belyi
1971/UUSR/Leningrad

In 1989 graduated from Secondary Art School of the Academy of Arts.
From 1990 to 1992 has studied at Mukhina Academy of Applied Arts, ceramics department.
In 1994 joined St. Petersburg Union of artists, also member of Russian Union of artists.
From 1995 to 2001 he lived in London, where he studied at Camberwell College and graduated in 2000 with an MA in Printmaking.
Since 1999 – member of The Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers.
Lives and works in St Petersburg, Russia; works mainly in printmaking, objects and installations. Teaches at Smolny College (Department of Liberal Arts and Sciences; St. Petersburg State University).

Artworks by Peter Belyi can be found in collections of Victoria and Albert Museum (UK), Ashmolean Museum (Cambridge, UK), Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers collection, The Margulies Collection (Miami, USA), Murmansk Regional Museum of Arts (Murmansk, Russia) and other state and private collections in Russia and abroad.
